Niche Marketing – On Crack – Revisited!

niche marketing A year back before I start selling my own products, and having my own offline consultancy business, I was quite into affiliate marketing.

That’s right – selling other people’s product.

Now, while I don’t really recommend selling other people’s product as your sore revenue channel, it great for beginners starting out, when they have don’t have their own products yet.

And for me – one of the best ways – not to mention, cheapest and effective way of doing affiliate marketing is implementing the "niche marketing on crack" strategy.

Andrew Hansen was the creator of this strategy. The whole premise of this is to target niche markets and long tail keywords to promote your selected product.

The key was to build a website with a domain name that includes your product keywords.

So for example, you want to promote "Apple Ipod", you can register a domain name "AppleIpodReview.com".

This is to ensure, when people end up on your site, they are really targeted and qualified. Meaning they are much more likely to buy.

The trick was also to find good products that do not have heavy competition. For anything with less than 1.5 million competing sites, mean you are possibly in business.

When I did up my niche marketing sites, I rely a lot on search engine optimization and getting backlinks via article marketing, directory submission, pinging and social bookmarketing.

It was a lot of work, but the whole site plus marketing shouldn’t take more than 2 weeks to finish – max!

Now when I look back, I actually only did 2 of such niche marketing sites. And even though I stopped updating long long ago, it still gives me residual commission. Once it’s stuck on Google, buying traffic still comes in. That’s the power of niche marketing and long tail keywords. =)

Anyway the point is, if you ever want to start to build niche sites, there are currently a lot of easier ways to do it. Back then, I used WordPress blogs for niche sites.

But if you don’t want to fiddle around with the hassle of configuration, installing plugins and themes and just want to a quick way to get your sites up, you may want to try EZ Niche Builder.

http://emoneymarketing.com/EZNicheBuilder/

It comes with automated content distribution that is linked up with Amazon, Clickbank and Ebay.

You don’t have to create any products or write long articles reviews like I did. You just need to plug in and play with your own commission links. And you could revenue coming in within a day!

Of course, you still do need content. But you can easily solve it by getting private label articles, or quickly rewriting articles you find in article directory.

With EZ Niche Builder, you get to move faster and get profitable much quickly. Once you finish one, you just move on to the next. Rinse and repeat.

You can easily outsource this. And soon you can have a full army of sites that deliver you passive income on autopilot.

As for getting backlinks, if you want hands-off and be lazy, like me, then you will need SocialBot.

http://emoneymarketing.com/SocialBot/

I’ve written about this before. In a nutshell, it helps you do the tedious task of social bookmarking to hundreds of social bookmarking account. All on auto pilot!

If you have done social bookmarking before, you will know it is downright mundane, repetitive and time consuming. Real pain in the ass.

You have better things to do, such as creating more cash-producing sites or spending time with your family.

Why not automate the task and make your life easier? After all, probably 2 or 3 sales will more than cover your cost of any investment.

And after that, whatever backlinks you create for hundreds of other sites you make will lead to pure profit.

Remember, if you want long term scalability, profitability and growth, you must always always utilize automation.

But don’t take my word for it. Both Bill Gates and Tim Ferris (author of 4 hours work week) strong proponent of using automation to advance your business productivity and growth.

Enough said. If you want to find out more, hop on down to:

We will talk soon.

All success,

Good article – automation is certainly worth pursuing where possible and I agree with you about focusing on niche marketing. If you’re experienced with PPC you can also frequently promote your niche affiliate site instantly and start earning immediately before natural rankings have been established.

True. The nice thing about building a site which gets traffic is the fact that it’s passive income. The traffic’s the hard part though. Something I still need to crack.

Great advice indeed. It’s so necessary to understand the idea behind niche’s and the ability to really kick butt with them. People think, but wait, the term ‘insurance’ is so good! Why not just go for that, imagine being first on Google. LOL Sure thing buddy, IF you somehow pulled that one off then congrats. I focus on niche’s that I know I can excel in!

Jag, do you have any case studies of the effect you can get by using SocialBot? Like improved ranking or increased number of backlinks etc.?

And what about videos to show how that product works? If you have videos on YouTube or similar site I would also really like to see them. It sounds like a great product but as you know there are lot of similar products out there so…

@Mikael:

Unfortunately, we do not have any videos of this.

What Social Bot does is that it helps you bookmarks
all your entries and website pages to various social bookmarking sites.

It’s exactly the same as you do it yourself.

The only thing is that SocialBot helps you to automate the process and it’s a LOT faster than us doing it manually.

So…the question here is more of is social bookmarking effective?

I would say it gives backlinks…and opens up more door to your site. But don’t just rely on social bookmarking.

Use it as one of your weapons in your arsenal. But not rely sorely on it.

There are many other ways to get backlinks. Here are 2 good articles:

Niche Marketing is one of the best ways of beginning blogs to earn some money. The reason is that old sites have more
credibility than the young ones. And begginers have to post unique content to compete against the old ones.

Apart from providing SEO benefits, social book marking can be a very good marketing tool in itself. Viral marketing campaigns can be very successful using these kinds of web services since the ranking of the bookmarked links depends on the ratings by the users. SEO firms tend to count on the well known users in order to get their assertions for the web pages/services included in book marking sites.

I agree with you when you say that website optimization needs to come first. I doesn’t do any good to have traffic come to my site if they do not stay. I know what I like when I go to a website and I know which ones I stay on. Like I hate the blinking signs that are trying to draw my attention, they are like a car salesman with shinny gold capped teeth. I personally have no problem in finding the data I need and it is not always on the front page of google. I often find the better sites a couple of pages back. So for me, it is first things first…a great, easy to navigate site that tells me what the site is all about right from the start. Then I can go for content…. and then decide on product.

Niche marketing is the way to go. So many online marketers jump right into affiliate marketing and try to target a product designated to the whole niche of a subject. It’s best to hone in on specific target markets. Like the saying goes ‘when you try to please everyone you please no one’.
