Take Action!

imageHere’s something to think about:

Someone with decent knowledge and takes action will make more money than someone with fantastic knowledge but doesn’t moves his ass at all.

I always fascinate at people who are obsessed about learning all they can. But doing nothing about it at all.

They say knowledge is power. I agree – in part.

Application of knowledge is power.

Look. Education is important. I always support learning. It’s a lifelong process. But learning doesn’t end with just learning.

You learn a hell lot too when you actually do.

In fact, doing and applying what you learnt takes your learning to a whole new level.

You will meet with circumstances that you have never thought about before. You will meet unforeseen problems and obstacles no one has ever told you about.

You still have to get on with it…and deal with it, isn’t it?

There’s where a lot of real learning takes place.

Learning also comes when you review the process you have just done.

What mistakes did you do? How can you learn from it so that you will become much more efficient and effective?

Moral of the story:

Keep learning, always.

But take a lot more action with your acquired knowledge.

Agree?

Love to hear your thoughts.

The process of learning doesn’t stop with books, and once you’ve learned all you can from books you need to act. Being smart only for yourself, doesn’t count too much, you need to prove your knowledge.

I have to agree with you, it’s silly to spend a lot of time learning things, not to apply what you know. I know someone like this that’s very knowledgeable but doesn’t even work for a living. In fact, he barely ever goes out side. He’s a person that reads a great deal and is a computer whiz but never really does anything with his knowledge. It’s kind of a waste.

I faced up with these questions at the age of 22 and have learned a lot from my life experience. Own experience is better than anything if only you are able to study from it. Such skills will never be studied at school or university.

so true, you see so many students who have invested so much in their education but don’t have any idea how to make a living. You have to know how to market your knowledge and leverage it in the outside world

I try and learn something new everyday. It’s fun to do. The more I know the more I can teach and share with others which I like to do.

Although on-going learning is important, there’s a big difference between theory and practice. Information only becomes knowledge once it’s been acted upon in a real-world scenario and mistakes have been learnt from. This is where the most useful learning occurs, in becoming experienced within a chosen field.

Yeah, right you are!
Suppose that if you have stopped learning then you just won’t have any abilities to work, move and earn money.
That’s simple.

Yeah i totally agree with you. It’s not enough to just acquire knowledge on a particular subject unless one utilizes it.Bookish knowledge is good to a certain extent but one constantly needs to be aware of what’s happening in and around his/her surroundings. For me life is the biggest teacher and one gets to learn a lot from real life experiences. Thanks a lot for this post.

Somebody with decent real knowledge will know that taking action or not taking action is just a dualistic choice in the game of life. Just that action is believed to be more fun.

Learning is a never stopping process! And as many have said: it’s for nothing your knowledge if you do not apply it in a certain situation! Every situation has it’s particularities and sometimes a book only presents general facts, so you learn more when you apply what you know taking in consideration other facts like human factor.

I agree with your post..taking actions based on what knowledge we have learned is very important. This is very true because I experience this thing myself. For instance, from what I’ve read about SEO and linkbuilding comapred to taking those knowledge into actions are so differeent in terms of results and success. It’s from all those challenges and obstacles that I managed to learn more. The key point here is ‘Take Action’

I couldn’t agree more with this!

We were just having Sunday morning mimosas and chatting about books.. A couple of the girls, myself included were a bit hard on Nancy who admitted she’s not been making time to read with all the part-time jobs she’s been working.

After reading your piece here I think I’ll call her up and eat some crow. ;)
