Why Internet Marketing, Business and Finance? – Part 1

 Alright, I assume you have seen the tagline below the title of my blog – Random Musings and Thoughts on the Business, Financial and the Internet Marketing World. Plus a little more.

Let’s forget the ‘plus a little more’ portion for now.

So why did I choose to mainly focus on the 3 areas, namely Internet Marketing. Business and Finance?

Before I go into details, I have to recount to you a book I read years ago. This book in question is ’Cash Flow Quadrant’ by Robert Kiyosaki.

While I’m not exactly a huge fan of his works (those who read other titles by him will find that a lot of the information are really a rehash of one another), I got to admit that book had a profound impact on me at that time.

Yes we are constantly stuck in a never ending rat race, living on the next pay cheque working in a job.

What if you wake up to find that your job has been outsourced to the cheaper foreign labour and that you are no longer needed?

In actual fact, working in a job is never as simple as it seems. We have to face the constant office-politicking, having to manoeuvre around with caution, and at the same time, making sure we keep our bosses happy. It does get tiring and weary after a while.

One false move, and it could be game over.

Therefore, why work for others when you can work for yourself? When you do a business, how hard and smart you work will proportionally determine how much you earn. Your income is only limited by your creativity, effort and resources to a certain extend.

One of the main reasons why I want to venture into business is that being in one allows me to make a difference in what  I do. An impact which is tangible that I can see quickly if I take enough action. This is something I’m not able to do when I was working in a big organization. I’m just but one of the people in the crowd. On my own, I determine my own fate and destiny, and of course the money coming in.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not against people who want to find a job or are already in one. That’s perfectly fine as not everyone is cut out to do business.

I just want people who have the aspirations to be their own boss, to dare to dream and take action to be one (as cliche as it may sounds). And also not to be a boss just for the sake of earning big money (hate that notion!), but also to genuinely make a meaningful contribution, be it to your customers, partners or employees.

I long have the ambition to do my own business. However there were always many factors and concerns to consider such as the time, money, plan, logistics and so on.

I did slowly got to grip on how a business is ran when I got to know more people who are also involved in their own entrepreneurial ventures. With that, I start to have my own ideas on how to go about doing a business and which model best suits my strengths and what I can currently offer.

More to talk about the business aspect, but lets move on for now to Internet Marketing and Finance in part 2.

The most desireable and main advantage of working through the Internet in the sphere of Internet marketing is flexible work schedule – I’ve experienced this advantage on myself when i quited my job which i hated and began to work in the internet.

Learning Internet marketing can free you of your long-hated job and give you more time to spend with your family while making money at home.

I think that working on your own business is equally as hard as having a day job, even more so, as one has to learn everything there is to know from accounting to legal issues, and considering that on average, a secure profit is made in 5 years, it’s safe to say that it takes a lot of courage to start a business.

I think what you posted is really true, when we are working we are always at the mercy of our boss. But for me internet marketing really works wonder and t worked out for me the better giving up my day job really made me something more of what I can do in the internet, being flexible, less cost because your just at home, being with the kids. I think this would suffice my basic needs for now. While opening a business of your own is also a good idea but the risk involved is still big with all those giant companies around you.
