I also have an external hard drive, so if I were to lose the internal hard drive I won't lose my data. If the external drive went, I would still have my data online. For my Wordpress blog, I also backup my database daily. Each time it is backed up, it is also e-mailed to my gmail account to keep it safe - on a different server from my Wordpress database. Now all I need to do is find a plugin that can do the same with my Wordpress files and I'm all set.
