Digital Informational Product – Low Cost, High Profit Margin

Welcome on board. Thank you visiting EMoneyMarketing.com for the first time! I hope you will find some value here. Cheers!

informational productsIn the past, creating products was expensive.

Most of them were physical in nature.

Today, we can create digital informational products at very low cost – and sell at high profit margin.

So Why Informational Products?

1. You don’t need a place to store them. No warehouse. No office. That means no expensive overhead rents.

Just your laptop hard-disk is suffice.

2. Your stock never runs out. They are digital in nature. You create them one time. And you can sell them over and over again.

3. You have no printing expense to speak of. That alone saves you a lot of costs!

4. Start up and production cost is minimal

5. You can repackage and re-brand the products to your heart’s content. And make a tidy sum from it.

6. The information market is growing and expanding like never before. Consumers are yearning for good content. And they are willing to pay for good information.

Imagine. Over the last year, over 145 MILLION people spent over $100 BILLION online! And the demand keeps increasing…

We have not even got started yet!

Find a niche with a pressing need and just be there to serve it. You will be rewarded – amply!

The verdict is out – loud and clear…

Info-Marketing is HOT

Just take a look at Agora publishing with online publications like Early To Rise and Investor Daily Edge. They have millions of subscribers, raking in the big bucks.

Others like Wealth Daily and Tycoon Report aren’t doing too shabbily either. They all have their own e-newsletter to build relationship and of course to follow up and market their own series of in-house informational products.

David De Angelo aka Eben Pagen, of the Double Your Dating fame, is the 20 million dollar man. He created a hugely profitable media empire focusing on the dating niche. And it all started from his bed room!

Talk about successful infopreneur!

Here are is a quick glance through some examples of informational products/strategies you can create/utilize – and start profiting immediately:

  • Tele-seminar
  • Webinar
  • E-book
  • Flip websites
  • Private Label Rights (PLR) articles
  • E-course (email)
  • Subscription-based Membership site
  • Videos/Audio
  • Software/Script
  • Home study course
  • Graphics

If you want to add value to your info-product package, you can throw in some of these:

  • Checklist/Guide/Quick start handbook
  • Bonus chapters
  • Consulting
  • Worksheet/Spreadsheet/Interactive tutorials
  • Resources
  • Easily imported bookmarks/Swipe file
  • Mindmap
  • Templates
  • Sample text/template

Package some of them or all of them, by niche/theme/subject, and you have a product ready to go.

You can sell them individually. Or sell them as a package/mega deal. You can also create series of them (e.g. beginner, intermediate, advanced etc).

The choice is yours.

After that, you simply do a JV and get affiliates to sell for you. That will give you massive marketing leverage with almost zero risk.

And that’s it! You are in business!

Anyone in the info-marketing business, care to give me a holler and share your story?

I’m all ears.

All Success,

jagfoo4

I sell my own e-books for some time already.

And I’m making good sales every week. Don’t cost me much to make, but the income that comes in is great!

Property sale:

Try David De Anego’s Double Your Dating site. Or Early To Rise.

All million dollar companies. Bulk of the revenue are through informational products.

Take a look at some of the most successful online marketers such as Mike Filsaime and Frank Kern, and you will realized, again, that they make much of their money through digital info-products.

Cheers,
Jag

Web hosting news:

Which product are you referring to? The one in the pic? Yes, it is a good ebook.

Cheating spouse:

I will have to say that people will buy only when they see value, info product or not.

Man boobs,

What a name! Or rather keyword! Clickbank offers plenty of good info products to promote. Good place to get affiliates to sell for you.

I prefer to use my own affiliate marketing script though.

Cheers,
Jag

Useful information, but you should study items in more details.
Webinars are easy way to get money, but you must be good in your niche.

Hi Jag,
I think you’re right-on about selling informational products (like the DD book you mentioned), it’s certainly an education and way better than sitting around watching TV! Thanks for your advice on the forum.

Marketing digital products is a great way to get started in making income online but I’ve never been very sucessful in creating my own digital products to sell and the market seems flooded with the PLR stuff.

I totally agree. Downloaded products are a great idea if you can come up with something people will actually want to buy. I’ve seen loads of sites who’s owners have simply written an ebook, got a few reviews and then offered a sale for a very low – maybe $1 – price. They must get 1000s of orders.

The problem is finding something that you can write about with enough authority that people will actually want to give you their spare change to find out what you think.

There are a TON of people raking in the dough by selling information products. In fact, that’s exactly what Barnes and Noble, Borders and several others do but for the regular Joe, well the issue is how does one go about creating a product?

One thing you forgot is thier is no shipping or mailing cost and that saves alot of money so you can keep more or earn more. If you have some good knowledge on certain subjects you can make alot of money and if you set up affiliate program so other people can promote them you can make alot of money easy.
