good article. here are my take:
#4 – if you intend to include a brand name/product name/celebs name in your domain, check the related policy. Some companies are frown upon this practise. case in point, Croc sent a C & D to a Croc fan site as the domain contains the word ‘croc”.

as for rebate.. works like charm for most cases but don’t do this to Clickbank, they do not like it. and… rebate + bonus = killer conversion !

last but not least.. wanna generate some buzz to your blog? put up the commission screenshot, and watch the links love come in.. :)

Well, yes. And no.

For blogs, it is always good to have fresh and updated content. If you depend on your blog to earn an income, then I will say yes – new constant content matters.

With that said, it is definitely possible to have a site with content up, and then left to run on autopilot – and still raking in the cash.

I still do periodically update the sites when I have new content. If not, I will just let it run on it’s own.

Is this kind of autopilot strategy only successful on extreme niche sites?

Regardless, I like the thought of a low maintenance project, even if it only brings in a little money every month.

As long as it is a good product with good value – and at a reasonable high price, I will consider it.

By the way, the product is not from clickbank. It has its own affiliate program.
