Financial calculators are pretty common these days, but they don’t do anything a spreadsheet can’t.
I have the Texas Instruments BA II Plus and it is an invaluable tool. Basically it allows you to calculate IRR, NPV and conduct basic valuations on the fly. It’s pretty useful if you can afford it, but in theory I could get by simply using functions and macros that you can design or downlaod for free.
