Goodie freebie #1 – Sonic Redirect

This is for those affiliate marketers who desire to have a nicely cloaked affiliate link but don’t know how to go about doing it.

Why have a cloaked link?

You can read more in the tutorial here where I give a tip on how to easily do so manually.

If you are lazy and need a software to complete the task, then Sonic Redirect is the right tool for you.

It is workable on Windows and Mac and this script is functional on any server that runs on PHP.

So long as you know how to upload a file to your web server, you should have no problem with it. You are in business.

If you need technical help, there is an online manual link within the software that can point you in the right direction.

Sorry for the screaming-for-attention headline I’ve here. Don’t worry I’m not going to sell you anything. So put your itchy wallet away. I just want to give you a heads up on an amazing resource site I came across.

I’ve been to number of free giveaway sites, and it is fair to say that a lot of them are filled with junk and thrash. Simply put – a waste of time!

While surfing around aimlessly the other day, I stumbled upon yet another giveaway site. I was skeptical at first, but nevertheless, I decided to check it out.

And boy am I glad I did. This is definitely the real deal. The site I’m talking about here is Giveaway of The Day. Basically this site offers FREE softwares for give away. It’s not your thrashy kind nor are the products just merely trial versions. These are licensed and fully functional softwares that are useful and handy. They are available for download for a day (hence the name), but quite often, this period stretches longer than that (only when the publishers are agreeable).

A quick check reveals that there are many kinds of softwares available for download and use, catering to different areas. In the Internet world, there is hardly anyone who do not know or have not heard about the Big G. Everything now is about Google this and Google that.

To be honest, this is hardly surprising. Since Google, founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin, burst onto the scene in 1998, they took the search engine realm by storm. One by one, they brushed aside their more established competitors like Altavista, Excite, Lycos and to a lesser extend, Yahoo, with embarrassing ease.

I remembered a few years back when people were asking if that their share price at 160 was too high? Guess what? The price is now at 495, poised to break through the 500 psychological barrier. With the P/E and market capitalization at a staggering figure of 63 and 152 billion respectively, you know Google is a force to be reckoned with. A titan if you will.

Anyway the point of this post is not really about Google’s financial background nor its history (perhaps I’ll talk more about this in later posts).

The real purpose here is that I just like to let you in about a great resource I got to know on almost everything about Google for webmasters and Internet marketers. Be it on Adwords, Adsense, Blogger, Sitemaps, Firefox, Froogle  and many more other Google features, this website gives you, the Google user, handy tutorials, tips and tricks.

In my last post of how to read emails in 1 place, I actually took the idea from this site, modified it to include some updated information and my own take on it. I forgotten to give credits to this site, so now is the chance for me to do so.

The website in question is Google Tutor.

When you are new to something, you will always want to look for support and successful people which you can model yourself after. In addition, you will like to hear from the experiences of others, make friends and even form possible joint ventures with. A community forum is usually the best place to do so.

You get the occasional crap ones, where posters just come on to talk and spout nothing but loads of BS. These forums are just a waste of time.

Thank god there do exist great ones out there.

When it comes to Internet Marketing, there is one forum community that stands out from the rest. No question about it. No doubts about it.

That honour belongs to The Warrior Forum.

I can’t really remember how and when I stumbled into this forum, but boy was I glad that I did.

This is really THE place where all the marketers from all over the world hang out. The best are in there. Just observing them discuss about Internet Marketing matters has allowed me to learn in bucketloads.

A unique feature of the forum is the WSO section or otherwise known as the Warrior Special Offer section.

This section allows forum members to post their own unique products to other members at special low rates not available outside. And I must say there are a lot of gems out there. It became such a popular feature of the forum that many members are known to be WSO addicts. People who can’t stop buying.

Testament to the quality of the products being sold there.

It is also great to observe the sales pitch. Most play at the human’s emotion of fear, greed and hope. Very very effective! Of course, most do have great products to back up the talk. I do confess to buying a few products from there before.

What I found most special about the Warrior forum is that how forum members genuinely help each other out. Not only in Internet Marketing matters but also in time of need and troubles.

I came across a case where a guy was in financial trouble. He couldn’t even afford to support his kids and family. He was pouring his heart out, and many forum members just came forward automatically to help him out by donating to him via a PayPal link, with no expectations of any things in return.

Some who couldn’t help out monetary-wise, encouraged others to donate by offering their own product to anyone who can show proof of financial help.

It was really heart-warming and touching to see such cases of selfless helping, and this is what makes the Warrior Forum truly unique.
