Get Targeted Ads On The Cheap

image

If you notice, there is increasing competition in advertising. More and more companies are getting in on the online space.

Just take a look at Google Adwords. A keyword like “window cleaning company” can cost an average of $4.44 per click!

You better have a good ad that can give you a high click through rate (CTR) as well as a solid landing page/sales pitch to have any kind of ROI.

Thankfully…there is an alternative traffic that you can get such clicks at almost half the cost…sometimes less…and still retain the quality of the traffic.

The answer – content network. Specifically the placement targeting.

If you don’t know yet, Google has a HUGE network of sites that carry their contextual ads. These sites will show ads that are relevant to the pages’ content.

It’s amazing that most people are focused on the search network and are completely forgoing the content network. And the content network can be a source of huge volume of traffic.

Now for advertisers who are using content network, most are targeting via keywords.

But keyword targeting can be pretty untargeted considering that the default matching is set to “broad”.

Google Adwords Quality Score – Busting "Bid High and Get High Quality Score" Myth

google adwords quality score If you do an Adwords campaign, you will desire to do your utmost to acquire great quality score.

Because, with a excellent quality score, you can reduce your cost per click (CPC). And increase the probability of you obtaining a higher advert rank.

Generally, the quality score is affected by 3 primary factors:

- Click through rate (CTR)

- Relevancy

- Quality of landing page

Between the 3, Click through rate carries the highest weight in the determination of the quality score.

Now, in the quest to obtain high click through rate, there is a mistaken myth that perpetuate amongst a lot of Adwords marketers.

And that’s – should you were to place in a larger bid, you’ll rank higher. And with a increased ad rank, you will tend to get much more clicks and obtain a higher click through rate. As a result of the higher click through rate, your quality score will also improve.

Sounds right?

Well, actually this is not the case.

The amount your bid is completely independent of the quality score.

AdWords Marketing – Words That Add Urgency to Your PPC Ads

ppc marketing - Google AdWords is not cheap, however, if you can get more clicks & a higher click through rate, your cost per click will drop. 1 of the most powerful ways to get more clicks in a shorter time is simply to add urgency to your pay per click ads.

Quantity Limit

If you are selling products, you can limit the quantity, these are the words which you can use…

  • limited availability
  • limited quantity
  • selling out fast
  • only 7 available
  • only 7 left
  • less than 13 left
  • get 1 of the last 17
  • supplies are running out
  • while supplies last
  • while you still can
  • the next 7 orders will get
  • almost gone

When using numbers, you want to make sure you use some odd numbers (such as 7, 9, 13, 17, 23, 27 & more) so that it is easier for people to believe what you say.

Time Limit

For almost anything that you are selling, you can give a time limit, these are the words which you can use…..

How To Predict If a Niche Or Keyword Is Likely To Be Profitable…

If you are into pay per click marketing and niche market research, you will do well to pay attention to this little-know, almost “under-the-radar” tool.

I only came to be aware of this tool recently.

And to think this tool is a free one – from MSN AdCenter Labs. The name is “Audience Intelligence”. It’s seems like a lot of us are pre-occupied with the power tools at Google, that we forget that MSN AdCenter do also have potent “weapons” of their own.

Okay…here’s what this tool does – it helps you predict whether there is a commercial intent of an online visitor. Are they looking to buy something? Or just looking for information?

This is huge. Because if you are doing business online, and want the greatest return on your investment – your immediate target will be the crowd that are ALREADY set to buy.

This video shows how it works. Watch it now…

If You Are Not Tracking – You Are Not In The Game…

A smart marketer makes data driven decisions. Not so much of decisions based on others people’s opinion or what he hears.

But one based on cold hard statistics gathered from his prospects and customers’ actions.

For example, if you are a pay per click marketer, you will want to know which of your keywords, ads and landing pages converts the best.

This is vital because you don’t want to be shooting in the dark. Because that can mean 2 things – you take longer to get profitable…and you spend a lot more advertising that you should be.

Or because you don’t know what is working.

Fortunately, there are a lot of good tracking softwares out there.

And among the best…and a free one at that is prosper202.

It’s powerful. It gives in depth statistics. And it’s free. Can’t ask for more.

I use it for my PPC campaign myself. Excellent software.

It does what I just described and a lot more…

Here are some screenshots:

A good friend, I recently got to know, in the Warrior Forum, Derek Krein, has came out with a mini training course on tracking with Prosper202.

How To Lower Your AdWords Cost And Increase Your Campaign Profitability – At The Same Time.

Save your adwords pay per click costIf you are using Google AdWords for your online campaigns, I can bet you my last dollar that one of your biggest concern is how you can maximize your ad dollar.

Am I right?

If that matters to you…read on.

3 simple tips I will show you. Nothing earth-shattering. Some of you may already know this. Pretty simple actually. And I think it will still help you.

Okay, on with the meat…

Tip 1 – Content Network Website Spy

If you are using content network for you ads to appear in, you will notice that some of the websites are giving you better quality traffic.

Meaning their referred traffic gives you better click through rate and better conversion at your site.

Now…take note of these sites. And contact these site owners if you can do a JV with them.

Maybe you can work out a deal whereby you can pay them on a per click basis with a more favorable cost per click rate than you are paying Google.

Or better still, work on a per sale basis, and give them a higher commission (e.g. >65%) than you would for a normal affiliate (assuming you have a product).
