Words of Wisdom from Mahatma Gandhi

 mahatma ghandi marketing quotes

“A customer is the most important visitor on our premises, he is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work. He is the purpose of it.

He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so.”

Ghandi on serving customers

Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

Ghandi on life

Satisfaction does not come with achievement, but with effort. Full effort is full victory.

Ghandi on importance of putting in effort

It is unwise to be too sure of one’s own wisdom. It is healthy to be reminded that the strongest might weaken and the wisest might err.

Ghandi on humility

As usual, I love to hear your comments.

All success,

Jag Foo

I like most Ghandi’s thought about the Full effort – surely, if we learn how to take pleasure from the process of taking effort – not only form our achievements, – we will become happy!

I agree with Betty – the quote on effort and achievement was very encouraging. The problem too often is that people don’t really put in a truly full effort, so they blame themselves when they fail. When you really have done all that you can do, you go to sleep trusting in a higher power and hoping for the best because that is simply all that is left to do.

Thank you for that encouragement,

I.C. Jackson

Excellent quotes, I especially like the one about satisfaction from effort rather than from achievement. It’s definitely true. When we achieve things without great effort, we don’t really feel that satisfied, but when we put in a lot of effort we find satisfaction from the effort itself even if we end up not achieving what we intended to.

While agree that we need customers, should we be contented with that? For me, we also owe it to our customers for them to need us. That’s why we have to know what they want as a whole and provide that. Be the expert that they’ll approach and need. For example, I have over 80000 subscribers to my newsletter. While I agree that I need each one of them, I also made it to a point to be who they’re looking for.

Admin from Peg Perego Infant Car Seat
21 January 2010 @ 6am

Customers also need to do their part to ensure they get that they need…True of any such experience I’d say…

Select some criteria (including price) and then eliminate the car seats that dont match your criteria.

What other criteria? Well, how about quality, durability, test ratings, features, comfort, etc…

Note that some car seats last longer than others as well (which affects value of course). Peg Perego car seats are heavier and more expensive, but they can also accommodate larger/heavier children which means you can keep then in that seat for longer. they’re also made of better materials, and better designed than most, so they can be used/re-used for longer too!

Lots to consider: Just remember to come up with some criteria, do some research and it will be WAY easier to find the right seat for you and your child!

Best of luck.

P.S. Make sure you install the seat correctly as well! You can find good videos on many sites, inclugind Youtube…
