I’m a bit curious about the soldier and the gas pumps. Is this about high gas prices and how does that relate to it? The Saudis are hiking up the prices and not the iraqis or the afghans. Our government and the US government is spending billions on fuel while engaged in that war over there, so the gas companies aren’t suffering. So, who are we blaming?

Hi Rick,

Frankly, I don’t know how to relate the soldier and the gas point. I just found the picture intriguing.

With regards to Iraq, I got a feeling the next US president gonna get the troops here soon.

I agree those pics are pretty good attention grabbers. Thats what its all about. It ranks up there with like how AOL and other platforms use Headlines in a news type format to probe interests (ie; New Study says Pecans help Smokers kick the Habit” …and then you click on the link and read the article and then realize it was just one big AD…lol Genius stuff !!

Even with the imagination and creativity, one must have ability to transform those ideas to design and implementation. IN above all examples, design of the banner, color used and things placed have good impact on overall advertising appeal.
